Painting Aprons 04/11/2010
It's a beautiful Spring day here in the country and I love the fresh air, trees in bloom, and flowers coming up. Some of the grandkids are here this weekend, but can't get them to stay in the kitchen with their cooking aprons on because they want to be outside! Imagine that! I'll have to admit, though, the smell of fresh air in the Spring is even better than the smell of cooking in the kitchen. A great idea for a day like this, though, is to set up a painting easel outside, put on their painting aprons, and have them draw or paint what they see. Sign their name to it, date it, and write a description in their own words of what they painted. Great keepsake to look back on some day and smile!! CommentsLeave a Reply | AuthorHello!
